Design and manufacture of a high-pressure pumping unit for the Chinon nuclear power plant.
Chinon nuclear power plant, in partnership with Comex Nucléaire and for EDF.

Main components
– Bead-blasted 304 stainless steel frame
– High-pressure triplex pump. The pump has a stainless steel head. It has also been modified to meet PMUC requirements. Stainless steel valve, stainless steel and PE valve, lubrication. Stainless steel safety valve (all parts in contact with the fluid – demineralised water).
The pump delivers : 49 litres/min at 1000 rpm at a pressure of 200 bar.
– 18.5 kW asynchronous motor (1440 rpm), mounted with lantern.
– Frequency inverter in stainless steel 304 – IP 54 enclosure with internal ventilation. Stainless steel control panel (except drive potentiometer).
– Stainless steel discharge valve – type BP07 – 80 l/mn – 400 bar.- Stainless steel HP anometer on pump- Manfifold for supplying water to the pump and all the spool valves for BP rinsing lines.
– Stainless steel HP pressure gauge on pumpdistributors for BP rinsing lines, consisting of :
– Manfifold for supplying water to the pump and all distributors for BP rinsing lines, consisting of :
o BP flexible sleeve, to avoid vibrations.
o SMS type BP connection in 316 stainless steel – threaded connections
o Staubli About (M) RBE 11 fitting in 316 stainless steel – without valve
o One BP pressure gauge connection.
– Turbine flow meter – stainless steel 1.4401. Kobold brand. 4/20 mA – display instantaneous flow rate + totalization.
